About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our eResearch and Specialised Advisory team at Griffith University. As the Head of eResearch and Specialised Advisory, you will play a critical role in enabling the University's research and innovation strategy by improving research capability, quality, and impact through the optimal use of enterprise and cloud ICT infrastructure.

You will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with our researchers and guiding them to adopt and implement innovative digital and IT solutions and practices through consulting and engagement, as well as the provision of skills development. You will also be accountable for the development, management, and delivery of eResearch services to the University research community.

This is a full-time, continuing opportunity based at our Nathan Campus. As Griffith is a multi-campus University, you may be required to work across other campus locations.

About You

We are looking for a collaborative leader who can guide and coach a team of specialists to further develop capability and expertise in requirements gathering and analysis, project management, solution design, innovative problem solving, and strategic thinking. You will possess broad specialist knowledge across the range of research disciplines and the ability to quickly understand and solve complex problems.

You will also have a comprehensive understanding of relevant legislations and policies impacting research, data management, and cybersecurity. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for this role, as you will need to liaise with a range of stakeholders.
