Research Fellow Position

Griffith University is seeking a highly skilled Research Fellow to contribute to a new ARC Discovery Project, 'Voice and Belonging: Pathways to inclusion for new migrant communities through media'. The successful candidate will provide high-level research assistance, project management, and intellectual contribution to the project as directed by the Chief Investigators.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct research activities, including literature reviews, coordinating and conducting fieldwork, and assisting Chief Investigators to complete research activities and outcomes.
- Disseminate research, attend team meetings and workshops, and liaise with Steering/Advisory Committee members.
- Liaise and communicate with journalists, editors, and audiences from ethnic and multicultural communities around Australia.
- Assist with completion of research ethics applications.
- Be responsible for data collection, storage, and preliminary analysis of data collected in accordance with the research protocols as stipulated.
- A PhD in a cognate or relevant field.
- Experience in a specified area of research.
- High-level interpersonal skills, as well as verbal and written communication skills.
- A publication record in esteemed peer-reviewed journals.
- The ability to work independently and with minimal supervision to meet competing deadlines, and work effectively as a team member and communicate with a range of stakeholders.
