Job Description

Our organization is seeking an Industry Training Consultant to conduct sign-up processes for Australian Apprentices. The successful candidate will provide accurate information about apprenticeship conditions, rights, and obligations, ensuring that apprentices understand their arrangements and are able to complete their training contracts successfully.

The Industry Training Consultant will work closely with apprentices and employers to ensure that they have access to all necessary support services, and will help to improve AA completion rates by providing guidance on appropriate qualification and identifying potential issues before they arise.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct in-field sign-up processes for Australian Apprentices
  • Provide accurate information on apprenticeship conditions, rights, and obligations
  • Determine appropriate qualification for apprenticeships
  • Assist apprentices and employers to understand and complete the Training Contract
  • Access support services to improve AA completion rates
Requirements
  • 'In field' experience and sound understanding of the Australian Apprenticeship System preferred
  • Proven ability to build rapport with the business community and stakeholders
  • Demonstrated experience in client service
  • Strong communication, liaison, and networking capabilities
  • Proficient skills in MS Office and external computer-based databases
  • Ability to interpret Government guidelines and related VET legislation
  • Current and valid driver's licence required
