About the RoleWe are seeking a dedicated educator to provide high-quality education to students with autism. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching a range of subjects and developing individualized learning programs.
Key Responsibilities- Teach a variety of subjects to students with autism, using evidence-based approaches and adapting teaching methods to meet individual needs.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver effective student outcomes.
- Develop and implement tailored learning programs that cater to the unique abilities and needs of each student.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to students, helping them achieve their full potential.
- NESA registration to teach in NSW is essential.
- Special Education qualifications are highly desirable.
- Experience working with students on the autism spectrum or other intellectual disabilities is advantageous.
- A current NSW Working with Children Check clearance is required.
- In some cases, a driver's license may be necessary depending on school location.
