Employment Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Employment Consultant to join our team and help create meaningful employment opportunities for individuals on the autism spectrum.

This is a unique opportunity to influence inclusive culture change across organisations, using your expertise in co-designing practical tools, resources, and training that support organisations to become truly autism-friendly.

The successful candidate will use their lived experience as an Autistic person, alongside strong communication, writing, and organisational skills, to inform and develop our new Autism Friendly Employment service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop content and lead client projects and training sessions to drive lasting change in how workplaces support employees with autism.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement innovative solutions that promote inclusion and diversity.
  • Contribute to the development of our Autism Friendly Employment service, ensuring it meets the needs of autistic individuals and supports their career aspirations.
Requirements:
  • Lived experience as an autistic person, with a desire to improve work opportunities for autistic (and neurodivergent) people.
  • Professional experience in HR, advocacy, or co-design achieved in partnership.
  • Experience in developing written materials such as guides, tools, and resources that support learning, inclusion, or workplace improvement for diverse audiences.
