About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Business Improvement Consultant to join our dynamic team. This position requires an individual who can lead deliverables, ensure operational excellence and align with our strategic objectives.

This role demands a proactive attitude, collaboration and adaptability. You will work closely with clients by proposing solutions, analysing their risks, regulatory footprint and operations, offering insights through data and guiding them through implementation.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Client Delivery: Conduct independent consultancy projects for clients in the superannuation, asset management, insurance, and payments sectors, providing expert advice to improve risk management and operational efficiency and meet strategic goals.
  • Proposal Development: Develop consultancy proposals, outlining solutions to client challenges, supported by detailed research and analysis to drive risk and operational improvements and ensure measurable outcomes for approval by Managing Directors.
  • Strategic Analysis: Perform strategic analysis on client operations, identifying gaps and bottlenecks, and providing recommendations to enhance risk management and performance and align business processes with long-term objectives.
  • Process Evaluation: Evaluate and review current systems and structures within client organizations, diagnosing business issues and delivering tailored recommendations to address risks, inefficiencies and optimize resource utilization.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Provide data-driven insights, utilizing various analytical tools to support decision-making processes, ensuring that proposed solutions were grounded in accurate data and aligning with the client's business goals.
  • Implementation Support: Assist in the implementation of approved recommendations, working with client teams to guide the transition from analysis to action, ensuring smooth operational changes and adherence to recommended procedures.
  • Lifecycle Consultancy: Engage in full lifecycle consultancy, from the initial scoping and diagnosing of organizational issues, through to the delivery and implementation of tailored solutions, ensuring improvements were aligned with the client's long-term strategy.
  • Client Management: Manage day-to-day requirements of client engagements, including client communication and expectation management and escalations to the Managing Directors and Chief of Staff as required.
  • Output Delivery: Deliver outputs to a high standard of quality and within agreed timeframes to ensure client expectations are met.
Business Development & Support:
  • Sales Support: Supporting internal business growth opportunities, including identifying and delivering on opportunities to uplift PX Partners' operational efficiency.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Nurturing existing client relationships and conducting analyses to determine opportunities for PX Partners to grow its revenue and profitability.
  • Business Planning: Preparing business plans for consideration by Principals and implementing new opportunities, including resourcing, risks, marketing, sales plans, etc.
  • Milestone Delivery: Delivering to agreed milestones to support implementation of growth opportunities.
  • Ad-Hoc Activities: Supporting Managing Directors and Chief of Staff across all ad-hoc business activities, as required.

Requirements:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional with:

  • A minimum of three years of relevant work experience in a similar role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven experience in process improvement.
  • Proven experience in risk advisory and compliance.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A degree in business, finance, law or a similar field.
  • Previous consultancy experience.
  • Previous industry experience.
Compensation & Benefits:

Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum depending on experience.
