Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement data-driven customer and business insights for strategic projects
  • Apply structured problem-solving and sophisticated analysis to draw conclusions across a range of business issues
  • Work closely with SMEs across the Bank to provide advisory services to business leaders
  • Develop specific strategic solutions for problems and contribute to the overall outcomes of the team
  • Manage your own work and contribute to the team's success
Requirements
  • Pure strategy or management consulting experience (1-2 years) in a tier 1 consulting firm, a boutique strategic consulting agency, private equity, or in industry corporate strategy roles
  • Strong quantitative background with strong academic credentials
  • Ability to communicate clearly and succinctly
  • Strong focus on customer and commercial outcomes, excellent collaboration skills, and ability to engage with a wide variety of stakeholders at different levels of seniority
  • Financial services expertise preferred, but not mandatory
  • Strategic thinking skills, defined as the ability to creatively approach and structure complex, potentially unfamiliar issues
  • Exceptional analysis skills, complex business modelling skills (preferred)
  • Exceptional communication skills both orally and in writing
  • Experience in developing slides and storylines for senior management
  • Ability to work well within a team environment, develop relationships, and share workloads
  • Ability to manage to deadlines and deliver on time with high quality
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Intellectual curiosity and a desire to solve problems
