  • Implementing and managing programs to ensure compliance with laboratory standards, operating models, accreditations, and regulatory requirements.
  • Conducting compliance checks, inspections, and reporting for OHS and WHS legislation, regulations, and policies.

Your Responsibilities:

  1. Managing laboratory operations, compliance, audits, and safety programs.
  2. Implementing and managing programs to ensure compliance with laboratory standards, operating models, accreditations, and regulatory requirements.
  3. Developing, streamlining, and implementing overarching policies and procedures for laboratory operations.
  4. Overseeing and implementing a quality management system, conducting routine inspections, tests, and audits.
  5. Planning and overseeing the laboratory's budget, including equipment and supplies procurement.

About You:

  • A relevant tertiary degree or qualifications in a science-related field is desirable.
  • Experience in operating a facility to laboratory safety and quality standards is essential.
  • Advanced knowledge of implementing and using a Quality Management System is highly regarded.
  • A broad understanding of environmental regulations is desirable.
