The Company:

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Senior WHS Advisor to join our client, a well-respected government agency, in their Parramatta office.

This contract will have an immediate start and will run until 28 March 2025.

**The Job:**

As a Senior WHS Advisor, you will be responsible for promoting safe working methods in line with regulations, managing workers compensation claims, developing WHS training materials, and implementing WHS audit recommendations.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Promote safe working methods in line with regulations.
  • Manage workers compensation claims.
  • Develop WHS training materials.
  • Implement WHS audit recommendations.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to the business unit's corporate services function.
  • Inspect workplace tools and equipment for regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with People & Culture on WHS matters like bullying and non-work injuries.
  • Stay updated on WHS legislation and regulatory requirements.

**Requirements:**

To be successful in this role, you must have at least 2 years of experience in a similar Senior WHS role. Previous experience working with management to provide input on policies, procedures, and WHS-related projects is also highly advantageous.
