Job Opportunity: Road Maintenance Professional
We are seeking experienced Road Maintenance Workers to fill a permanent night shift role in our Clayton depot.
About the Role
This position involves working under supervisors' direction in crews of 2-4 people, delivering routine maintenance and defect rectification works for pavements, bridges, and roadside assets.
- Perform rapid responses to incidents and emergencies across the network.
- Carry out scheduled routine servicing and hazard and defect rectification works for pavements, bridges, and other structural assets.
- Complete all works with a strong focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Record works-related data in the field, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Participate in daily pre-start and shift-close meetings, contributing ideas for changes and improvements in work practices.
Requirements
- Experience working as part of a crew maintaining pavements, bridges, and roadside assets is essential.
- Previous experience with TMA, road safety barrier (Guard Rail / WRSB), or Flocon operation is highly desirable.
- High levels of self-motivation, exceptional time-management skills, and a proven ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision are required.
- Sound digital and data management skills, including familiarity with field applications for works management, are also necessary.
