Job Summary

Our team is seeking a Nightshift Road Maintenance Worker to join our permanent workforce based out of Clayton depot. As part of this role, you will be responsible for delivering routine maintenance and defect rectification works across the network.

About the Role

As a Nightshift Road Maintenance Worker, you will work under the direction of our Supervisors in crews of 2-4 people, performing tasks such as rapid response to incidents, scheduled servicing, hazard and defect rectification works, and recording works-related data. Your focus will be on safety, quality, and efficiency throughout all aspects of your work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to emergencies and perform incident investigations.
  • Conduct routine servicing and repair pavements, bridges, and roadside assets.
  • Participate in daily meetings to discuss works, share knowledge, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve shared goals and deliver exceptional results.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience working in road maintenance or related field.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety procedures.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Able to work at heights and in confined spaces.
