Software Development Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Developer to join our team. This role will involve designing and developing advanced hardware and software solutions for life sciences companies.

  • The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and be able to deliver creative, logical, and effective solutions using good design principles.
  • They will also have experience in designing and developing critical platform infrastructure components using advanced concepts like threading/async programming.
  • Additionally, they will be responsible for developing high complexity modules/subsystems for controlling analytical instruments and data mining with intelligent algorithms.

This position reports to the Software Development Manager and is part of the Software Department. The successful candidate will be an on-site role based in Concord, Ontario, Canada.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze problems to deliver creative, logical, and effective solutions.
  • Design and develop critical platform infrastructure components.
  • Develop high complexity modules/subsystems.
  • Evaluate and recommend new software development technologies, tools, and practices.
  • Mentor senior team members and peer review product artifacts.
Required Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in designing and developing software solutions.
  • Knowledge of threading/async programming concepts.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
