Capacity Building Professional for Landcare NSW

About Us
At Landcare NSW, we are committed to enhancing the capacity of our member organisations to meet their strategic targets. As a Capacity Building Officer, you will play a vital role in building the skills and knowledge of local coordinators and member groups.
We are seeking a skilled professional with experience in leading or managing a small commercial or NFP organisation, preferably with a background in business management. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills, as well as strong communication and negotiation skills.
The successful applicant will be responsible for reviewing and assessing Local Priority Plans, ensuring day-to-day coordinator activities align with Program Outcomes, and identifying areas for improvement. They will also work closely with the NSW Landcare Program manager and the LNSW CEO to design member services that address identified weaknesses.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a not-for-profit charity with a flexible working environment. As a part-time position, your fixed days and hours each week can be negotiated at the start of the employment contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reviewing and assessing Local Priority Plans
- Ensuring day-to-day coordinator activities align with Program Outcomes
- Identifying areas for improvement and providing recommendations
- Working closely with the NSW Landcare Program manager and the LNSW CEO to design member services
- Collaborating with RCoP Coordinator to develop CCC Workshops
