Property Accountant

This is an exciting opportunity for an eager accounting professional looking to accelerate their career in property, and work alongside a market leading team and single client. As a Property Accountant, you will play an integral part of our Real Estate Management Services team, providing property managers with accounting support and management of the trust accounts.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Preparing month end financials and reporting for properties, ensuring timely delivery of reports and trust account functions as required, including accruals, prepayments and analysing variances.
- Preparing balance sheet reconciliations.
- Investigating and resolving issues, including reconciling financial data to ensure accuracy with timely reporting to clients and management.
- Assisting property managers to prepare outgoings reconciliations and annual budgets.
- Working closely with AP and AR team to ensure processing is accurate and assist with queries.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A relevant degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce.
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral, ability to converse with all levels of staff from senior level management to technical staff.
