Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Payroll and Accounts Payable Specialist to join our client's team. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing payroll for all employees on a weekly basis, ensuring accurate calculations of salaries, wages, overtime, bonuses, and deductions.
Key Responsibilities- Payroll Processing: Process payroll for all employees on a weekly basis, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
- Payroll Record Maintenance: Maintain and update payroll records, including employee data, compensation, and tax information.
- Accounts Payable: Review, verify, and process vendor invoices and payment requests, ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant laws and regulations.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare payroll reports and summaries for management, providing insights into financial performance.
- Administrative Support: Provide ad-hoc administrative support to the team, as required.
- Qualifications: Relevant tertiary qualifications in a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in payroll and accounts payable functions.
- Technical Skills: Experience with Vista or Jobpac is a strong requirement.
- Industry Knowledge: Previous exposure to Civil Construction, Construction, or Property Development industry.
- Soft Skills: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
