We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll and Accounts Payable Officer to join our team at Michael Page. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for processing payroll, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Payroll Processing: Process payroll for all employees on a weekly basis, ensuring accurate calculation of salaries, wages, overtime, bonuses, and deductions.
- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain and update payroll records, including employee data, compensation, and tax information.
- Accounts Payable Management: Review, verify, and process vendor invoices and payment requests, reconcile vendor statements, and resolve discrepancies.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare payroll reports and summaries for management.
- Qualifications: Relevant tertiary qualifications in a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in payroll and accounts payable functions, with expertise in Vista or Jobpac.
- Industry Knowledge: Previous exposure to the Civil Construction, Construction, or Property Development industry.
- Skills: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
