Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer - Civil to join our team in Western Australia. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects with earthworks, in-ground services and civil structures.

The primary challenge for this role is to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget. To achieve this, the successful candidate will be responsible for planning and conducting professional engineering work without direct supervision.

The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in Civil / Structural Engineering of energy/utilities projects and hold tertiary qualifications in Civil / Structural or equivalent.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Planning and conducting professional engineering work without direct supervision
  • Consult, recommend, and advise on specialist engineering areas
  • Supervise and coordinate multi-disciplined design activities
  • Control and manage technical interfaces between disciplines, with equipment suppliers and subcontractors
  • Assist in the preparation of forecasts and the constructability of projects
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Education: Tertiary Engineering Qualifications in Civil / Structural or equivalent
  • Experience: Substantial experience in Civil / Structural Engineering of energy/utilities projects
  • Skills: Valid Driver's License, Proficient skills in computers: MS Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook, Strong communication skills (oral & written), including negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to establish effective working relationships at various levels both internally and externally
