Access Consultant

This position offers the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students by promoting accessibility and inclusion. The Accessibility Liaison Officer will work collaboratively with the Student Accessibility Team to identify and discuss access needs and recommend reasonable accommodations.
The role involves partnering with students with disabilities to deliver programs and training that uplift accessibility and promote disability pride across campuses and online.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote accessibility and inclusion among students, staff, and faculty.
- Collaborate with the Student Accessibility Team to ensure students with disabilities have a welcoming, inclusive, and accessible student experience.
- Partner with students with disabilities to identify and discuss their access needs and recommend reasonable accommodations.
- Detect and remove barriers to create an inclusive environment.
