Accessibility Specialist

  We are seeking a skilled Accessibility Specialist to contribute to the development of inclusive environments that meet the needs of all users.

  The successful candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of access and mobility standards, as well as the ability to conduct thorough assessments and provide expert advice on accessibility compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive access audits and assessments of buildings, facilities, and public spaces.
  • Interpret and apply relevant standards to ensure seamless compliance.
  • Prepare detailed reports and recommendations for enhancing accessibility.
  • Collaborate with architects, designers, and project teams to integrate inclusive design principles.
  • Utilize access assessment tools and software to support evaluations and reporting.
  • Effectively communicate with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Stay current with changes in legislation, standards, and best practices in access consulting.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong foundation in applicable access and mobility standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
  • High level of attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency in using access assessment tools and software.
  • Diploma in Access Consulting or similar qualifications (essential).
  • Relevant certifications or qualifications in access consulting.
