About the role

GSA are seeking a skilled Senior Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience leading projects and teams, as well as stakeholder management experience. The Senior Consultant will collaborate closely with various external and internal stakeholders to develop solutions for clients and manage projects from start to completion. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, and a keen attention to detail. The role will involve occasional interstate travel.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Serve as a subject matter expert in disability inclusion and accessibility, providing strategic guidance and solutions to clients.
• Lead and manage projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality outcomes within scope and budget.
• Conduct in-depth analysis, problem-solving, and decision-making to address client challenges and opportunities.
• Develop and facilitate education sessions on disability inclusion and accessibility.
• Prepare and deliver reports and recommendations to senior client stakeholders, including formal presentations.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and point of contact.
• Mentor and support junior team members through knowledge sharing and performance feedback.
• Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging best practices to enhance services provided to clients.
• Contribute to business development efforts, including proposal writing and identifying growth opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with internal quality standards, data privacy, and ethical practices in all project activities.

About you

To be successful in this role you will have:

• A minimum of 2 years proven experience in a professional services client facing role
• A strong understanding of disability and accessibility.
• Experience in facilitation of education sessions and strong presentation skills.
• The ability to analyse data, synthesise information and develop reports.
• Knowledge of the disability sector, and an interest in removing barriers to participation for people with disability.
• A flexible approach to work and problem solving.
• The ability to work collaboratively within a team, and also able to work autonomously.
• The Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• A willingness and ability to travel as required.

Other useful qualities:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is desirable.
