Aircraft Maintenance Professional

We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Armament) and have a strong understanding of Aviation Quality Assurance procedures.

Key responsibilities include maintenance, modification, servicing, inspection, testing, and troubleshooting of aircraft systems. This includes preparation, handling, loading, and maintenance of aircraft weapon systems.

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on aircraft systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Conduct inspections and tests to identify any issues or defects with aircraft systems.
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve project goals and deadlines.

Additional requirements include holding a DASR Part 66 Military Aircraft Maintenance Licence (MAML), having prior experience as a maintenance certifier/supervisor, and possessing excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Accountabilities
  • Report directly to the Maintenance Operations Manager.
  • Work collaboratively with industry teams involved in maintenance operations at Amberley.
  • Develop and implement efficient workflows to meet project deadlines.
Essential Experience / Qualifications
  • Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Armament).
  • Sound knowledge of Aviation Quality Assurance procedures.
  • Australian Citizen.
  • High level of verbal and written communication skills.
  • Australian NV1 Defence security clearance or the ability to obtain.
Desirable Experience / Qualifications
  • Hold a DASR Part 66 Military Aircraft Maintenance Licence (MAML).
  • Previous experience as a maintenance certifier/supervisor.
  • Good knowledge of Environmental, Health and Safety procedures.
  • Prior supervisory or leadership training.
  • Working knowledge of computer-based maintenance management systems.
  • C class driver's licence.
