At UGL, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to fill the role of Defence Fuel Operator. As a key player in the Defence industry, this position plays a crucial role in supporting the Australian Defence Force across 100 locations nationwide.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and compliant operation and management of aviation and/or ground fuel installations at Amberley RAAF Base, Brisbane QLD.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a Tier 1 services provider in a long-term operations and maintenance contract. The Defence Fuel Operator will lead by example and ensure the technical integrity of fuel installations, including quality control sampling and testing.

The ideal candidate will possess relevant experience in similar environments, such as high-risk/hazardous processing settings. A valid Drivers Licence (HR or HC) and current Defence Security Clearance are also essential requirements.

Job Requirements
  • Reporting to the Operating Agent, the Defence Fuel Operator must manage quality, compliance, quantity, and availability of fuel and related systems and processes.
  • Manage quality control sampling and testing to ensure the technical integrity of fuel installations.

Requirements
