Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled technician to join our team as an IT Support Specialist.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of technical concepts, including Unified Communications, Network, Telephony and Cloud, with the ability to communicate effectively to understand problems, troubleshoot and articulate updates clearly to stakeholders through to resolution.

About the Role

  • As a key member of our support team, you will provide fast and useful technical assistance to clients, answering queries on basic technical issues and offering advice to resolve them.
Your Responsibilities
  1. Serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking assistance via phone or email.
  2. Perform remote troubleshooting using diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions.
  3. Determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by customers.
  4. Walk the customer through the problem-solving process.
  5. Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel.
  6. Provide accurate information on products or services.
  7. Record events and problems and their resolution in logs.
  8. Follow-up and update customer status and information.
  9. Pass on any feedback or suggestions from customers to the relevant internal team.
Key Requirements
  • Proven experience as a help desk technician.
  • Tech savvy with working knowledge of products, databases and services with a good understanding of multiple systems across Network, Telephony, Unified Communications and Cloud.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
