We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Technician to join our dynamic Maintenance team. Our purpose is to support Australia's energy needs while transitioning to a more sustainable future.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality maintenance on plant and equipment using technical skills and trade qualifications.
  • Lead, mentor, and share knowledge with apprentices and other team members.
  • Work closely with contract teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Develop and conduct task-based risk assessments to keep safety at the forefront.
  • Manage work orders from start to finish in our workflow management system.
  • Apply for and receive necessary certifications.
  • Lead small teams and guide them through day-to-day tasks.
  • Assess plant conditions, recommend improvements, and identify opportunities to enhance efficiency.
  • Help review and improve maintenance processes.
Requirements
  • Qualified Mechanical Technician with real-world experience since completing training and obtaining certification.
  • In-depth knowledge of modern power stations or heavy industry, interest in working with large process plant.
  • Analytical problem-solver ensuring precision and accuracy.
  • Someone who enjoys working with people, applying expertise, and adapting to change.
  • Thrives in high-pressure environments, delivering results efficiently and on time.
  • Committed to developing and mentoring others towards success.
  • Outstanding communication skills, dedicated to both process and personal safety.
