Youth Home Manager

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Care Coordinator to lead the coordination of placement households and care for children and young people.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the well-being and development of children and young people in our care, through delivering high-quality case management meeting best practice standards and complying with Departmental requirements.
- Offering assistance and guidance to Residential Youth Workers and Senior Youth Workers
- Coordinating and monitoring the implementation of case plans and leaving care plans in consultation with Case Managers at the Department of Child Protection and Family Services
- Managing complaints and responding immediately to allegations or concerns raised by a child
The role requires relevant management experience of children and young people in out-of-home care, as well as experience and understanding of trauma-informed practice and therapeutic care.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe following responsibilities include:
- Supervising a team of youth worker professionals
- Facilitating monthly team meetings and stakeholder meetings
- Developing household documents for children
- Providing on-call support and professional advice
The ideal candidate will hold a Certificate IV or Higher in Community Services and/or Diploma of Community Service (Case Management), along with relevant work experience and qualifications.
