About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Life Insurance Portfolio Manager to join our team in Sydney. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of complex life insurance claims, ensuring accurate claim assessment and timely outcomes for customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Claims Strategy: Develop and implement effective claims strategies, taking into account the needs of customers and the requirements of policies.
  • Stakeholder Management: Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders, including Technical Specialists, Recovery & Support Specialists, Health Services, and other departments.
  • Complaint Handling: Identify and escalate issues and complaints as required, ensuring timely resolution and excellent customer service.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Health or Allied Health (desirable). Diploma or Cert IV in Life Insurance, or equivalent (desirable).
  • Experience: At least 1-2 years' experience in Life Insurance claims management at a similar level.
