
Strategic Programs and Partnerships Lead

Program Overview
We are seeking an experienced Strategic Programs and Partnerships Lead to join our team. This is a high-impact role that will oversee a broad portfolio, driving growth opportunities and strengthening our position as a sector leader in child safe practice.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for safeguarding, positioning us as a leader in child safe practice
- Drive inclusion and community engagement initiatives to improve outcomes for disadvantaged children and families
- Refresh and deliver our Reconciliation Action Plan and First Nations engagement strategy, promoting cultural competence and understanding
- Identify and pursue business development opportunities, including grants and tenders, to support our growth agenda
- Shape client engagement and communications strategies to amplify our profile and community impact
- Represent us with government, universities, peak bodies, and community partners, fostering strong relationships and advocacy
- Collaborate across the executive team to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities, including new centres and services
Requirements:
- Proven senior leadership experience in complex, multi-stakeholder settings, with a strategic and values-led approach
- Deep commitment to inclusion, reconciliation, and child safety, reflected in your personal and professional conduct
- A collaborative and collegial leadership style, inspiring confidence across diverse teams

- Proven ability to build trusted relationships with government, community, and sector leaders
- Strong financial and business development acumen, including managing tenders and grants
