Job Overview

Macquarie University is seeking a skilled Lifelong Learning Partner to support the design and delivery of innovative learning initiatives, including Microcredentials. This role provides subject matter expertise and strategic guidance in Lifelong Learning, contributing to the development and optimisation of MQ Microcredentials. The Partner will manage relationships and provide support to academic staff across Faculties, including Deputy Deans Education and Employability, Associate Deans, Course Directors, and Unit Convenors.

Key Responsibilities

The Lifelong Learning Partner will be responsible for:

Providing subject matter expertise and strategic guidance in Lifelong Learning

Contributing to the design and optimisation of MQ Microcredentials

Managing relationships and providing support to academic staff across Faculties

Liaising with and providing advice and support to Deputy Deans Education and Employability, Associate Deans, Course Directors, and Unit Convenors

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to have a tertiary qualification in a relevant area and/or equivalent relevant experience. You will also need to have expertise and sustained experience delivering excellence in Lifelong Learning, combined with a strong understanding of the higher education context and evolving policy environment. Additionally, you will need to have strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to assess program effectiveness, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop evidence-based recommendations.
