The Role: Senior Learning Consultant

This role is responsible for planning, implementing, and directing various training activities within the organisation. The goal is to equip employees with essential skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively and promote a culture of continuous development.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Learning and Development:
  • Design, develop, and implement training programs aligned with the firm's strategic objectives, career pathways, and growth needs.
  • Conduct training needs assessments to identify skill gaps, current and future requirements, and recommend suitable training solutions.
  • Collaborate with partners and team leaders to deliver bespoke workshops, informing training pathways and approaches. Effectively communicate project aims, timelines, and outcomes with stakeholders.
  • Organise and schedule training sessions, ensuring efficient logistics management.
  • Evaluate training program effectiveness through feedback, surveys, and performance metrics, making necessary improvements.
  • Work closely with department heads, subject matter experts, and external vendors to ensure training meets organisational needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of training activities, attendance, and outcomes.
  • Develop onboarding programs for new employees to facilitate a smooth transition into the firm.
  • Utilise diverse delivery methods, including in-person, virtual, and blended learning approaches.
  • Establish mentorship programs to support employee growth and development.
  • Engage with key stakeholders to ensure training meets organisational and employee needs.
  • Generate regular reports on training activities, participation, and effectiveness for management review.
  • Manage training budgets efficiently, ensuring cost-effective resource utilisation.

Facilitation and Coaching:

  • Provide coaching aligned with learning needs assessment.
  • Assist in developing resilience and leadership skills by delivering dynamic workshops and professional development presentations.
  • Support leaders in developing awareness to achieve their full potential, helping them grow, change, and become exceptional leaders.
  • Co-design, develop, and facilitate interactive workshops building emotional resilience, performance under pressure, and vital leadership skills.

Requirements:

We seek an experienced professional with a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related field. Key qualifications include:



  • A minimum of 3-4 years of experience in workshop design, facilitation, and delivery.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Learning Management Systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Exceptional organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing business needs and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Certifications in training, instructional design, or a related field would be advantageous.
  • Previous experience in a corporate training environment.

Salary:

The estimated annual salary for this role is $85,000 - $110,000 AUD, depending on experience and qualifications.
