Key Responsibilities

The Operations Director will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and engineering operations of a hotel.

This includes managing the maintenance team, coordinating with other departments, and ensuring that all hotel operations are efficient and compliant.

  • Lead daily maintenance operations and oversee maintenance engineers.
  • Communicate effectively with housekeeping to prioritize tasks and activities.
  • Develop systems for health and safety and energy conservation.
  • Comply with relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Prepare budgets and forecasts for maintenance and repairs.
  • Perform regular checks and emergency procedures.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical equipment.
  • Ensure excellent customer service and maintain relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Maintain hotel fixtures and fittings to a high standard.

Requirements

  • Advanced knowledge of building management and engineering principles.
