About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Care Manager to join our team at Jemalong Residential Village. As a Care Manager, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and support to the clinical and personal care teams.

  • Ensure high-quality clinical care is provided to residents at all times, as per Aged Care quality Standards and policy and procedures
  • Provide leadership and coaching to the clinical and support teams to ensure the delivery of quality resident outcomes
  • Work in a safe manner, closely following all policies and procedures, including IPC, ensuring compliance with quality standards
  • Assume second-in-command responsibilities to the Residential Manager

This role requires a kind heart and genuine passion for providing high-quality care to the elderly.

Requirements
  • A current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • In-depth understanding of Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality Standards
  • Demonstrated knowledge of AN-ACC assessment processes
  • Comprehensive Clinical knowledge and understanding of the aging process, particularly age-related health issues
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of workplace health and safety
  • Previous experience working within a Residential Aged care setting in a similar role
  • Strong coaching/training skills and ability to influence others
  • Customer-centric approach to business
  • Able to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Competent IT skills including full Microsoft suite
  • Will to apply for Police Check and NDIS clearance
