Job Description:

The Transaction Banking business provides specialist expertise to assist our clients with their working capital and cash flow management needs, generating opportunities across multiple transaction banking products.

Our offerings include Business Accounts, CommBiz, Merchant Solutions, BPAY, Direct Debit, and Corporate Cards.

Main Responsibilities:

You will focus on the Commercial Banking segment to identify and generate new sales. You will work closely with Relationship and Specialist teams to grow the existing portfolio and market share.

  • Develop strong relationships with key clients to understand their business and Transaction Banking requirements
  • Support Commercial Banking teams in optimising cross-sell and client retention opportunities
  • Develop productive working relationships with Commercial Banking Leaders and Relationship Executives to optimise new business opportunities
  • Demonstrate a solution focus aligned with the client's needs and focus on exceeding Transaction Banking business objectives and revenue growth targets
  • Plan and execute risk-mitigating procedures, reporting and discussing results regularly

Requirements:

  • Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with business partners, peers, and staff;
  • Experience running a successful client-facing sales business in a financial institution;
  • Strong knowledge of Transactional Banking products, banking, and financial services solutions;
  • Authentic leadership and the ability to take your team on a journey to become a leading Transaction Banking team;
  • Energy and resilience, with a demonstrated capability in achieving outstanding business results;
  • Proven coaching and mentoring experience, and the ability to build and drive a strong team culture.
