Job Title: Laboratory Analyst

Our organization is seeking a skilled and experienced laboratory analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting routine laboratory analysis, maintaining a technically first-class laboratory, and ensuring the smooth operation of our laboratory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out routine laboratory analysis and maintain a technically first-class laboratory.
  • Day-to-day upkeep of analytical and sample preparation equipment.
  • Accurately conduct physical coal testing and analysis of routine samples.
  • Compliance with analytical methods, procedures, and quality systems and onsite HSE standards.
  • Delivery of quality samples to both internal and external customers.

Requirements:

  • Experience handling acids and chemicals.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • The ability to work in a team environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • A flexible schedule to cover various shifts and rosters.
  • Computer skills - Excel, Access, Lotus Notes, and CCLAS.
