Product Safety and Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Safety and Quality Assurance Specialist to join our Beverages Technical Team.

The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring product safety and quality by providing quality assurance and technical support to our Beverages Manufacturing Team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing and evaluating production records to determine suitability for product release.
  • Documenting Non-Conforming Product Records where necessary.
  • Providing technical support to production (trouble-shooting) to ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Conducting regular audits internal and external to the department to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Assisting in the development and maintenance of standard methods/operating procedures, work instructions and other quality system documentation.
  • Compiling weekly product status reports to keep stakeholders informed.
  • Overseeing that samples are sent away for appropriate testing and analysis as required.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A degree qualification in a science-related discipline such as chemistry or biology.
  • Proven knowledge of quality management principles and practices.
  • Experience within the FMCG and/or Beverages Manufacturing industry is advantageous but not essential.
  • An analytical mindset and ability to work systematically and methodically.
  • High-level professional literacy skills and writing/reporting aptitude.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively to deliver results.
