Lead Whole-School Engagement Strategies

A unique opportunity for an experienced educator to lead and shape strategies that strengthen student connection, wellbeing, attendance, and motivation.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Implement school-wide strategies aligned with the MACS Vision for Engagement
  • Embed evidence-based practices to support student connection, motivation, wellbeing, and learning
  • Coordinate a Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) for learners
  • Strengthen student voice and agency through initiatives like Student Commissioners
  • Build partnerships with families and community services
  • Guide staff professional learning in inclusive, trauma-informed pedagogy
  • Use data to drive improvement in attendance, wellbeing, and learning outcomes

  • Is committed to Catholic education and leadership
  • Demonstrates leadership experience in Catholic parish primary schools
  • Promotes student engagement, belonging, and motivation
  • Has a strong understanding of inclusive education and MTSS
  • Possesses excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Models reflective leadership and promotes growth
  • Leads with clarity, compassion, and excellence

Candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Commit to Catholic education and leadership in a Catholic school context
  • Ensure child safety and wellbeing
  • Hold experience in a formally appointed leadership role in a Catholic parish primary school
  • Hold current VIT registration
  • Have recent experience within Catholic parish primary schools
  • Be accredited to teach Religious Education in Catholic schools
