Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Catholic educator to lead and shape whole-school strategies that strengthen student connection, wellbeing, attendance, and motivation.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a visionary leader who can drive improvement in student outcomes and foster a positive school culture.

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing the school's vision, developing evidence-based practices, and building strong partnerships with families and community services.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Lead the implementation of our Vision for Engagement across the school
  • Develop and embed evidence-based practices that support student connection, motivation, wellbeing, and learning
  • Coordinate a Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) to meet the needs of all learners
  • Strengthen student voice and agency through initiatives like Student Commissioners
  • Build strong partnerships with families and community services
  • Guide staff professional learning in inclusive, trauma-informed, and engaging pedagogy
  • Use data to drive improvement in student attendance, wellbeing, and learning outcomes

To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate:

  • A deep commitment to the mission and identity of Catholic education
  • Leadership experience in Catholic parish primary schools
  • PASSION for student engagement, belonging, and motivation
  • A strong understanding of inclusive education and MTSS
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Reflective leadership and a commitment to staff and student growth
  • Clarity, compassion, and a commitment to excellence

Please note the following requirements:

  • A commitment to Catholic education and leadership in a Catholic school context
  • A strong commitment to child safety and wellbeing
  • Experience in a formally appointed leadership role in a Catholic parish primary school
  • Current VIT registration
  • Academic qualifications in addition to initial teacher education
  • Recent and substantial experience within Catholic parish primary schools
  • Accreditation to teach Religious Education in Catholic schools
