Category Marketing Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Category Marketing Specialist to join our commercial Sales and Marketing team. This role involves managing relationships with key retail and independent customers, identifying sales and marketing opportunities, and assisting in category planning.

  1. Develop innovative product ideas, craft compelling product descriptions, and support product sourcing.
  2. Analyze data to drive category growth and optimize customer planograms.
  3. Review customer planograms and optimize assortments to maximize sales potential.
  4. Oversee product registration, artwork approvals, and factory audits to ensure compliance and quality.
  5. Present regular reports on slow-moving stock, competitor analysis, and promotional recommendations to inform business decisions.
Requirements
  1. Minimum 3 years of experience in a retail or FMCG environment, preferably in a category, sales, or marketing function.
  2. Degree in Marketing or equivalent qualification.
  3. Proficient in Microsoft applications, particularly Excel, and experience with Adobe platforms is advantageous.
  4. Strong creative skills for point-of-sale materials and a solid understanding of planogram planning and execution.
  5. Familiarity with collaborative team environments and access to company-sponsored training and development programs.
