Category Marketing Manager

This key role in commercial sales and marketing focuses on managing relationships with retail and independent customers, driving category growth through data analysis, and optimising customer planograms.
Key Responsibilities:- Generate product concepts and write compelling product descriptions to meet customer needs.
- Analyse sales data to drive business growth, optimise customer planograms, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Review and refine customer planograms to ensure optimal assortment alignment.
- Manage product registration, artwork approvals, and factory audits to maintain compliance and quality standards.
- Present regular reports on slow-moving stock, competitor analysis, and promotional recommendations to stakeholders.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in retail or FMCG environments, preferably in category, sales, or marketing functions.
- Degree in Marketing or equivalent field.
- Proficient in Microsoft applications, particularly Excel, and proficient in Adobe platforms.
- Strong creative skills for point-of-sale materials and a solid understanding of planogram planning and execution.
