The role of Operational Excellence Specialist is pivotal in driving the implementation of the QCS Operational Performance Review Framework and associated mechanisms.

This involves gathering, analyzing, and reporting on performance outcomes to inform senior management decision making, particularly in relation to corporate governance responsibilities and non-financial performance indicators.

The primary objectives include:

  • Providing high-level expert advice and recommendations to senior managers on diverse and complex issues related to performance management and monitoring.
  • Developing reports, submissions, briefs, and other correspondence in relation to performance outputs and outcomes within the Directorate.
  • Collaborating with senior managers to align organisational strategies with performance metrics and enhance performance measurement, evaluation, and reporting practices in QCS.
  • Contributing to the creation of high-level corporate reporting documents through the provision of performance insights and data.
  • Engaging in liaison, consultation, discussion, and negotiation with key internal stakeholders to ensure effective operations and achieve strategic and operational outcomes.
