{"About the Role": "We are seeking a highly skilled Research and Policy Support Officer to join our team at the Department of Education. As a key member of our External Relations Policy team, you will be responsible for undertaking research and analysis to support the effective operation of our policy. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to seek and provide information and advice, and contribute to the preparation of documentation to support policy development.

This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate from an arts, education or related field to work in a dynamic and supportive environment. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills and experience in a role that can make a real difference in the lives of students and communities across NSW.

Key Responsibilities:

* Conduct research and analysis to support policy development and implementation
* Liaise and consult with internal and external stakeholders to seek and provide information and advice
* Contribute to the preparation of documentation to support policy development
* Work collaboratively with project teams to ensure the effective management and timely delivery of quality advice

Essential Requirements:

* A degree from a higher education institution within Australia or outside Australia and recognised within the guidelines of the National Office of Overseas Skills Recognition
* Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education
