At Bendigo and Adelaide Bank, we're seeking a dynamic leader to drive our QLD team forward as a key growth market in our Agribusiness strategy.

You will be responsible for leading a team of Agribusiness Relationship Managers across QLD, encompassing Townsville, Cairns, Rockhampton, St George, Dalby, Toowoomba, Maroochydore, Brisbane and regional customers including the NT.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Enhancing sales strategies for your state and ensuring those strategies are understood and well executed by your team.
  • Supporting your team through change, technology transformation and coming out on the other side with an engaged and collaborative crew who are committed to adopting successful sales operating rhythms and who have our customers front of mind in everything they do.
  • Investing in your people, providing mentoring and coaching to further their development and progression as well as timely feedback and support when it's needed to ensure performance outcomes are achieved.
  • Establishing a culture built on accountability and achieving outcomes in a way that is true to our values.

You will have a seat and a voice on the Agri Senior Leadership Team table, where we encourage you to challenge the status quo and stretch into strategic development opportunities.

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Demonstrated expertise in leading a large agribusiness team with deep knowledge of lending and credit risk principles.
  • Up-to-date knowledge and insights of agriculture market conditions, agribusiness products, cash flows and markets.
  • Passionate about developing others through a robust approach to coaching, including sales and performance management.
  • Deep understanding of the tools and principles that enhance operational excellence and drive a culture focused on continuous improvement.
  • The ability to collaborate and think outside the square to develop innovative, customer-centric solutions across all divisions of the bank.
  • Demonstrated exposure in successfully leading a team/business through multifaceted transformation and change will be highly regarded.
  • A tertiary qualification in agribusiness, finance or a related discipline.
