Job Overview

This is a unique opportunity to work on large hydro power projects in Australia as a mechanical engineer with excellent technical skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute balance of plant mechanical work scope ensuring high quality and safety standards are met.
  • Provide technical support to site teams and facilitate clarification with engineering teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Develop and maintain accurate site documentation, including lifting plans and installation instructions to support project requirements.
  • Support HSE & Quality plans and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Requirements
  • A university diploma in Engineering or equivalent qualification is required.
  • Previous experience in supervision of BoPm installation in large hydro power projects or similar industries is essential.
  • Proficient knowledge of hydro power BoPm equipment and construction project management best practices is necessary for success in this role.
Working Conditions
  • Typical roster: 14 days in, 7 days out with regular breaks and time off.
  • Typical work schedule: 10 hours per day, 7 days a week with flexible working arrangements.
  • Camp accommodation provided to ensure comfort and convenience during work periods.
