Operations Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Supervisor to join our team at Western Downs Regional Council. As a key member of our Facilities Department, you will be responsible for overseeing the administration, general operational activities, and housing operations across the region.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and oversee administrative functions across the Facilities Operations team, and in support of Council functions across the region.
- Manage the community housing operations across the region.
- Manage the operations of the Chinchilla Cinema.
- Oversee Council's swimming pool operations working with the contracted external providers.
- A qualification in Business Administration or equivalent related experience.
- High level interpersonal skills, including exceptional communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to influence, negotiate and effectively manage conflict, as well as receiving and sharing of information as part of a team.
- Proven experience leading and managing teams, developing talent, and coaching for individual performance improvement to effectively achieve required output.
- Proven experience in rental management or similar regulatory lead commitments.
