Operations Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Supervisor - Facilities to join our team at Western Downs Regional Council.
This is a fixed-term position based in Dalby, and you will be responsible for overseeing the administration, general operational activities, and housing operations of our Facilities Department.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:
- Coordinating and overseeing administrative functions across the Facilities Operations team;
- Managing community housing operations across the region;
- Managing the operations of the Chinchilla Cinema;
- Overseeing Council's swimming pool operations in collaboration with external providers.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A qualification in Business Administration or equivalent experience;
- High-level interpersonal skills, including exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence, negotiate, and effectively manage conflict;
- Proven experience leading and managing teams, developing talent, and coaching for individual performance improvement;
- Proven experience in rental management or similar regulatory lead commitments.
This is a full-time position, working 36.25 hours per week with a fortnightly RDO. You will have access to a range of benefits, including superannuation, flexible work arrangements, and opportunities for growth and development.
