Customer Service Supervisor

The Customer Contact Supervisor is a key role within the Griffith City Council, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Customer Contact Centre. This includes supervising a team of Customer Contact Officers and ensuring that good relations with internal and external customers are established and maintained through the efficient delivery of quality service.
This is a full-time, fixed-term position for three years, based in Dalby. As a Customer Contact Supervisor, you will be responsible for:
- Supervising the day-to-day operations of the Customer Contact Centre, with a focus on delivering a professional service and the highest level of customer service excellence.
- Managing team member performance through the provision of relevant and appropriate formal and informal feedback.
- Administering recruitment, professional development, and performance management of the Customer Contact Centre Team.
- Ensuring cash handling and banking procedures are followed in accordance with Council's Cash Handling Guidelines.
This role requires a relevant Diploma in Management or a similar qualification in a related field, or equivalent related experience. It is highly desirable for the successful candidate to have experience in a contact centre and people management.
Mandatory vaccinations are required for this position. The successful candidate will also be required to undergo a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing.
