Job Description

The Warehouse Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the efficient execution of warehouse and logistics operations. This includes ensuring accurate and timely handling of materials, inventory, and shipments.

  • Receiving and Shipping: Verify accurate receiving of incoming goods against purchase orders and shipping documents.
  • Coordinate loading and unloading of materials from trucks, ensuring proper handling and storage.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage Inventory: Maintain accurate inventory levels through regular stock checks and reconciliation of discrepancies.
  2. Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to track inventory levels, update stock records, and manage orders.

Warehouse Efficiency:

  • Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and compliant with workplace health and safety regulations.
  • Operate forklifts, high reach, pallet jacks, and other equipment safely and efficiently.

Logistics Support:

  • Coordinate transportation and distribution activities to ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, shipping companies, and internal teams to resolve logistics issues or delays.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience as a team lead with a proven record.
  • Knowledge of SAP, Excel, and Microsoft Suite will be an advantage.
  • Familiarity with material handling equipment such as electric tuggers and forklifts/high reach.

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to lift up to 25kg and stand for long periods.
  • High reach experience preferred.

OHS Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to all OHS policies and procedures.
  • Take reasonable care of themselves and others who may be affected by their actions.
