Job Summary

This role involves overseeing the daily operations of a warehouse, including receiving, picking, packing, and dispatch. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in a supervisory or team leader position, excellent leadership skills, and a solid understanding of warehouse management systems.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of 10 warehouse staff during the afternoon shift (1:00pm-9:15pm)
  • Oversee daily warehouse activities, including inventory control and stock management
  • Ensure accurate inventory levels and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency
  • Maintain a safe work environment in line with health and safety standards
  • Monitor team performance and provide guidance and support
  • Conduct shift handovers and ensure clear communication across teams
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity
  • Operate and oversee the use of warehouse equipment and systems
  • Train and on-board new team members as required
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a supervisory or team leader role
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team
  • A valid forklift license (LF) is preferred
  • Solid understanding of warehouse operations and inventory control
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems and RF scanning technology
  • Committed to maintaining a safe and compliant work environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make practical decisions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Punctuality and reliability are essential for this afternoon shift position
