HSE Leadership Specialist

The HSE Business Partner is a specialist position that champions the team against project objectives, working collaboratively with clients to implement industry-leading health and safety outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:- Developing and implementing business health and safety systems within projects, including policy updates, programs, and legislative compliance.
- Providing expert health and safety advice and support to project teams.
- Cultivating a culture of safe work practices, role modeling leadership principles and coaching management and workers on their duties.
- Conducting field inspections and interactions to verify health and safety system implementation.
- Coordinating workforce training needs.
- Compiling project health and safety reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Leading incident investigations and supporting injury management and return-to-work processes.
- Demonstrated experience in an HSE leadership role in civils and electrical environments with a strong quality background.
- A working knowledge of OHS legislation, standards, and relevant compliance codes, as well as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
- Strong skills in auditing and investigation.
- A current driver's license and ability to develop partnerships with various stakeholders.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications are highly regarded.
