About the Position:

We are seeking a dedicated professional to support children, young people and carers in foster care. The successful candidate will work closely with families, carers and agencies to ensure children receive safe, stable and positive care experiences.

\

The role combines case management, administrative responsibilities and face-to-face visits with children and carers. No two days will look the same as you provide practical support, advocacy and guidance.

\Key Responsibilities:\

  • Manage a caseload of children and young people in foster care\
  • Work directly with carers, families and government agencies\
  • Conduct home visits and provide ongoing support to children and carers\
  • Write case notes, reports and maintain accurate records\
  • Advocate for the rights and wellbeing of children in care\
  • Balance administrative tasks with face-to-face client engagement\

      • Experience in Out of Home Care or a similar role\
      • Strong communication and relationship-building skills\
      • Excellent written skills for reports and documentation\
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office\
      • Able to maintain confidentiality and professionalism\
      • Resilient, adaptable and flexible to work non-standard hours\
      • Ability to work independently and as part of a team\
