Project Planning Manager - Infrastructure Expert

As a seasoned project planning manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of complex infrastructure projects. With a strong background in project management principles and practices, you will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams and overseeing the planning and execution of projects from initiation to closure.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, defining project scope, goals, timelines, and budgets.
  • Provide guidance and support to project team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and resources to deliver their tasks effectively.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal teams, to ensure effective communication and issue resolution.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with project implementation, ensuring all stakeholders are aware of potential risks and opportunities.

Requirements:

A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in the planning phase of low to medium value road infrastructure projects.

Critical Note: Overseas candidates without this mandatory experience may not be considered due to client requirements.


Desirable Qualifications:
  • Prior experience managing projects to industry standards and specifications.

Minimum Qualifications:

For full degree qualified applicants only:

  • Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) & RPEQ accreditation.
  • OR Bachelor of Engineering Technology (Civil) / or an equivalent qualification accepted by the Institution of Engineers Australia as a Technologist Member (TMIEAust).
  • OR Associate Degree in Engineering (Civil) with relevant competencies.

Additional Qualifications:
  • A project management qualification.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. A strong understanding of project management principles, practices, and tools is also essential.
